Corona, CA- NORTH AMERICAN PET PRODUCTS® today announced it has acquired the assets of CASCO Group Inc, of Cerritos, CA. CASCO Group, Inc. was established in the USA in 1983 and has grown to become one of the world’s largest manufacturers of retail acrylic aquariums and commercial pet systems. With dedicated manufacturing in the USA, and Mexico, CASCO’s global presence, state of the art systems, and advanced customer service can be seen worldwide.

Teams from the two companies reacted immediately to ensure a seamless customer experience. The combined company now operates a 24/7 customer service support line for all commercial equipment. The expanded arrangement will continue to deliver enhanced habitat solutions to large and small companies that accelerate profitable growth through ingenuity, superior environments, and veterinarian approved designs.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The combined company will have 200 employees and will consolidate the Cerritos operations under the North American Pet Products world headquarters in Corona, CA. CASCO Group Inc will operate as a division of North American Pet Products. Existing CASCO Group facilities in Utah, Illinois, and Mexico will continue operations as usual.

North American Pet Products now has more than 300 Commercial Habitat customers including leaders such as PETSMART, Petco, Wal*Mart, PetLand, and Pet Supplies Plus. The combined companies will maintain a strong global presence with the product deployed and supported in over 20 countries and in 16 languages.

The winner was randomly selected on the show floor of Super Zoo 2009 in Las Vegas from over three hundred applicants. The prize was possibly the largest giveaway in recent history.

The owner of All About Pets, Sylvia Spooner will get to choose the fixtures of her choice, up to the $40,000 limit. “We are so excited to refresh our eighteen year old store, this is really going to improve our business,” says Spooner.

North American Pet Products specializes in customizing habitats to the customers needs and is excited about assisting Sylvia through the process. “We excel in outfitting the large chain stores, but the real fun is in the small businesses where our habitats make a huge difference in the overall sales,” says Jeremy Moser.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The company plans to operate the thirty-seven year old brand out of its Corona, CA headquarters.
