NORTH AMERICAN PET PRODUCTS® today announced the winner of the $40,000 Store Makeover, All About Pets in Barre, Vermont.
“We are so excited for All About Pets to have this awesome opportunity to improve their store. Improvements like this allow for reduced costs while improving the customer experience and health of the animals.” explained Jeremy Moser, Director of Marketing for NORTH AMERICAN PET PRODUCTS.
The winner was randomly selected on the show floor of Super Zoo 2009 in Las Vegas from over three hundred applicants. The prize was possibly the largest giveaway in recent history.
The owner of All About Pets, Sylvia Spooner will get to choose the fixtures of her choice, up to the $40,000 limit. “We are so excited to refresh our eighteen year old store, this is really going to improve our business,” says Spooner.
North American Pet Products specializes in customizing habitats to the customers needs and is excited about assisting Sylvia through the process. “We excel in outfitting the large chain stores, but the real fun is in the small businesses where our habitats make a huge difference in the overall sales,” says Jeremy Moser.
NORTH AMERICAN PET PRODUCTS® today announced it acquired Cat Care Company formally known as Riteway Products of Laguna Niguel, CA.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“The Cat Care Company deal is part of a proactive growth strategy in which we’re seeking targeted acquisitions to increase market share and enhance our ability to provide value and quality to customers,” explained Jeremy Moser, Director of Marketing for parent company, NORTH AMERICAN PET PRODUCTS.
The company plans to operate the thirty-seven year old brand out of its Corona, CA headquarters.

Corona, CA- North American Pet Products® announces that Kevin Butscher has joined as the VP of Sales for the FDM trades.
Kevin will focus on the growth of all North American Pet Product brands. Kevin comes to North American Pet with 18 years of pet industry experience. He was formerly with Central Garden & Pet, spending the last 10 years as the VP of Sales for the Pet Select Brand for Four Paws. Prior to that Kevin was the West Coast Sales Manager for Four Paws handling all west coast accounts. “We believe that with Kevin’s amazing experience in all classes of trade that he will be a great addition to our team,” says Sr. VP. Gordon Thulemeyer. “We are optimistic about the future of the industry and are confident that Kevin will play a pivotal role in our continued growth”.
